Ways to Cheer Up a Sibling

No one is in a constantly happy phase in their life, and no one can bring one out of that vicious phase in life. But making a polite and humble effort for someone you love is all you can do to make your loved one feel appreciative and secure. You have to make a personal space that is safe for another person to open up around you. And the hardest challenge is when this person you want to bring back to life is your sibling. Siblings who have age differences or competition amongst each other tend to keep their problems to themselves. And there are circumstances when people like to keep things to themselves due to low confidence or not wanting to trouble anyone. But the bottom line is that a special one in your life that too a singing is going through something or is having a bad day and you have to cheer them up. The only wise way to do that is with a combination of fun, presents, food and motivation. The correct mixture of all these emotions represents nothing but love to your loved ones and tells them how you are the right choice to be told everything to. Be a person’s confidante and experience the happiness it brings. And for which you can do the following things to cheer your sibling and to bring them back to their thriving self. 

• Adventure trips

Take adventure trips together where your sibling can open up about his or her issues or just come out of the closet of boredom and be happy and live again. Your sibling may be reluctant at first but don’t take no for an answer; instead, take them on a surprise vacation and introduce them to the fun once again. Manali, Shimla and Goa could be good places to be at. 

• Surprise visits

If your siblings live somewhere far or are long-distance with the family, pay him a surprise visit and go extra with loads of surprises. You can greet them with the usual cakes and bouquet or take something that is appreciated by both of you, like bro code. If you know that there is something not quite right in their life, they might especially need this visit. 

• Cake and bouquet surprises

Take a cake for your sibling or send one to his doorstep, which is an even better surprise because he won’t even be able to imagine it. Along with it, you can always have a bouquet with a little greeting card that is expressive of your feelings and motivates and cheers up your sibling to do the best. 

• Special gifts on occasions

Don’t let occasions go by without amazing presents reaching your loved one. If you are in the long distance, your sibling is more likely to feel alone and send rakhi to Canada, the US, Mumbai or anywhere else or send anniversary presents for your sibling and partner and keep them connected to the family. 

• Pep talk

Motivation is sometimes all you need to bring a special one to action, and pep talk every once in a while never hurts. You will know if your brother or sister will need a word with you, and you can always be there for them through online mediums as well now. Honestly is all they will look for, and you can give it to them to restore their positivity. 

• Diary writing

It is not the easiest thing to straightaway talk to someone even when you love them immensely, and hence it is a better idea for you to give a diary to your sibling so that he or she can start noting what’s in their heart in the diary and can live on keeping their memories in a safe space.
