Steps to writing a perfect essay

Writing a properly structured essay is a very critical job. To write a perfect essay, five steps need to be followed, and the steps are mentioned below:
  1. Thinking of ideas: List all thoughts that enter the essay writer’s head about the essay topic. Some of the thoughts will be random and worthless. Many of the thoughts, however, will be inspired and critical for the essay. Energy and time should not be wasted for determining which thoughts are potentially valuable, fully valuable, or worthless. List all thoughts. The essay writer should not worry about complete sentences, spelling, grammar, or other issues. The goal is to generate ideas quickly.

  • Introduction
  • Supporting Argument
  • Potentially Devastating Counter-argument
  • Counter to the Counter-argument
  • Conclusion
  • Bibliography
  • Introduction –  This is the face of the essay. The essay writer needs to set up the reader so that the readers care about the thesis statement. There are several ways to do this. The essay writer needs to introduce the reader to the importance of the essay writer’s topic. For example, it is important to do small privatization because it has been used in many countries to encourage small-scale businesses. Introduce the particular policy or situation under discussion. More hints on how to do this are available in the writing resources listed in the syllabus. Next comes the thesis statement of the essay. The essay writer needs to make it strong enough. The essay writer should not equivocate and need not show the reader both sides of the argument. Next comes the essay writer’s road map, where the essay writer tells the reader in two or three points what to expect. Do not need to write any sentence about each body paragraph because it is lethally boring.
  • Supporting Argument –  Here, the essay writer needs to provide a logical argument and evidence that supports the thesis statement. For example: if the thesis statement is that small-scale privatization effectively provided the correct incentives for efficient entrepreneurs to contribute to economic growth, the essay writer will need to find evidence for a particular region or country. The essay writer must collect source materials, cite the materials, and then place these sources in a bibliography using one specific format.
  • Potentially Devastating Counter-Argument – Here, the essay writer will provide a logical argument and evidence that potentially undermines the previous section’s logic and argument. For example, The essay writer may find evidence that in a region, an important reason that small-scale business owners operated effectively for that there was a basic foreign investment and the privatization of the small-scale was not critical. Again, place and cite source material these sources in a bibliography using the specific format. Five different sources in the supporting argument should be cited by the essay writer. Sources taken from the syllabus should be cited but do not count as one of these five sources.
  • Counter to the Counter-Argument – Make a logical argument backed with evidence that the original argument is more convincing than the potentially devastating counter-argument. For example, The essay writer might argue that small-scale privatization encouraged entrepreneurs to buy small shops that can be effectively restructured. However, it also attracted the foreign investors to invest in that financed infrastructure telecommunications that enabled these domestic entrepreneurs to operate efficiently. For example: If the essay writer is looking at a particular region in Russia, such as Samara, then the essay writer should note that while the counter-argument fails and the initial argument works in Samara, more explanatory power in other regions should be in the counter-argument.
  • Conclusion – This is a hard part of the essay, although not as difficult as the introduction. First, summarize the argument. Then, argue why the point is the only reasonable one to make for the topic under discussion. In this part, the essay writer needs to conclude all the thesis described in the paper, write down the findings, and doable things according to the paper.
  1. Write the First Draft– Using the revised outline as a guide, start writing. Be sure not to stray from the revised outline. Next, the best evidence that the essay writer can use is based on reliable statistical evidence or a careful description of actual institutions’ operation. This kind of evidence is most reliable at a regional, household level. If the essay writer uses regional, household, or firm-level statistical or institutional data, the writer needs to comment on how it represents a country. It is fine if the data is not highly representative, as long as the essay writer persuades the reader that it is still important to consider this region or this set of households or this sample of firms. The essay writer needs to do an initial proofreading and editing job on the first draft. Put away the first draft, preferably overnight.  It is optional but a good habit to develop, Take the draft to Professor after class at least once during office hours. Do not expect them to correct the spelling and punctuation, but ask them to look at the issues in content. The major issues are, of course, Is it cohesive? Does this essay make sense? Seeking such help is part of the job. The essay writer is not being a sycophant for doing this.
  2. Final Draft- After receiving written and oral comments on the first draft, the essay writer will start to write the final draft. This step is mainly a packaging and marketing job. The thinking has been done before, so make sure that the idea gets the shot it deserves. Run a spell check program on the draft. A grammar check program should not be used by the essay writer. These programs do not always promote brief and clear writing. For help, consult the writing sources on the syllabus or make an appointment with a writing consultant in the writing lab. Make sure that the bibliography and citations conform to the specific style. Ensure that the thesis statement, supporting argument, potentially devastating counter-argument, counter to the counter-argument and conclusion are all clearly and elegantly stated.
