Always Prep Your Face

First and foremost, you need to start with a fresh and primed face. There are a lot of different ones on the market that work amazingly. Primer is a very important step when you are a Rockstar because without it your makeup will be all over the place.

Perfect Your Complexion

After you have primed your skin, it is very important that you put foundation as you will layer on more makeup over it. Foundation will not only make your skin look flawless on stage it will help your other makeup to stick to it. Choose formulas that are waterproof and lightweight as you are most likely gonna sweat on stage.

Don’t Forget About the Bronzer

As a Rockstar, you are spending a lot of time on stage, therefore you have a lot of spotlights on you. Those lights can make you look really washed out if you don’t add enough bronzer. Apply it on your face so you accent all of your contours. Especially focus it on parts like the hollows of your cheese, tempest and your jawline.

You Can Never Have Too Much Highlighter

When you are on stage, you want to have that radiant glow. That is easily accomplished by applying a good layer of higher. Because you are going to be active on stage make sure that you choose cream ones rather than powered ones because cream sticks better to your skin. Accent your cheekbones, the tip of your nose as well as your cupid’s bow or even under your eyebrows.

The Smokier the Better

When we think about a female rock star the first thing that comes into your mind is the smokey eyeshadow. A nice dark smokey eye is quite hard to accomplish and it can take a lot of time as well as practice to get it just right. You have to start on time so you can take your time to layer those dark colours and build their intensity. Firstly, you will need to start by applying one colour to your whole eyelid and then starting to layer on other ones as well as blending them together to create one cohesive look. The key to creating the perfect rock star look is not to have any hard lines to your look. But the thing that will complete your look isn’t eyeshadow or hair, it is accessories that you are going to add to it. An ear piercing is something that every true rock star has to have. It will just tie the whole look together and you will look smoking.

Define Those Brows

The centre of rock stars’ makeup is the eye makeup, but in order to make that eye makeup pop, you have to do your eyebrows. You have to make your eyebrows nice and bushy. That is done by using products like brow mascara or pens you can fill them in. Nice thick eyebrows will complete your look.

Line Your Eyes

Along with the smokey eyes, to have that perfect look you will need to add some eyeliner. But instead of doing a winged liner, you want to line your waterline with the blackest eyeliner you can find. The most important thing is that you choose one that is waterproof as it is going to go on your waterline.

Accent Your Lashes

To make your eye look complete you will have to add the dramatic effect. That is done by layering a few coats of mascara so your eyelashes are fully visible. That will balance out the smokey eye and the lined eyes and it will look amazing. Just like with all the makeup make sure that you are choosing all waterproof mascara because you are going on stage.

Don’t Neglect Your Lips

Once you have your full face of makeup you need to add a lip colour that will make your lips breathtaking. When you are picking the right colour of lipstick you have to know what shades suit your face best. Even though a red lip is a staple in these looks, you have to pick the right shade of it in order to look amazing.

Set Your Look with Clothes

Once you do your amazing rock star makeup it is time to spice everything up with a rocking outfit. Unless you are a glam rocker, it can be quite tough to find clothes with which you can create the whole proper look. That is why shopping at thrift stores will save your style. There you will be able to find a lot of vintage authentic rockstar clothes and for a good price. That way you will also create a unique look that is hard to copy.
